I ALSO INVITE YOU TO HAVE A THOUGHT FOR MY GOOD FRIEND MOHAMED FAHMY, A CANADIAN JOURNALIST AND FORMER ICRC INTERPRETER HELD IN A PRISON IN CAIRO ALONG WITH HIS COLLEAGUES FROM AN INTERNATIONAL TV NETWORK. WE USED TO WORK TOGETHER A FEW YEARS AGO WITH AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION IN LEBANON. WE BOTH WORKED TOGETHER TO DEFEND THE BASIC RIGHTS OF PRISONERS IN LEBANON. WE ALSO HAD A GREAT TIME TOGETHER, LAUGHT A LOT AND TEEMED FORCES TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF PALESTINIANS, CIVILIANS BEING BOMBED BY FATAH AL ISLAM IN NAHR EL BARED, A PALESTINIAN CAMP LOCATED IN THE NORTHERN PART OF LEBANON. I RECALL HIS GOVERNMENT, CANADA, HE IS A CANADIAN CITIZEN. AND WAS DETAINED WHILE WORKING TO DEFEND FREEDOM OF SPEACH IN A COUNTRY I KNOW VERY WELL CALLED EGYPT. I WANT TO DRAW THE ATTENTION TO MY CYBER READERS I TRAVELLED BY ROAD, BOAT AND TRAIN FROM KHARTOUM UP TO CAIRO JUST WHEN THE UPRISING STARTED IN THAT COUNTRY. BEFORE I VISITED THE SINAI REGION FROM ISRAEL WHERE I USED TO WORK, AND ALSO VISITED BY BUS AND TRAIN ALEXANDRIA UP TO THE BORDER WITH LYBIA. IN EGYPT AND THOUGH I WAS TRAVELLING WITH MY BELOVED PARTNER JORDI, IN SEVERAL OCCASIONS I WAS APPROACHED BY MEN WHO TRIED TO ABUSE ME. THE COUNTRY IS CALLED EGYPT AND IM GOING TO DENOUNCE AN EGYPTIAN PADI DIVING INSTRUCTOR AND ALSO OTHER GUYS WHO ABUSED AND STILL ABUSE FEMALE JOURNALISTS COVERING THE UPRISING IN TAHRIR SQUARE. AND ALSO EGYPTIAN MEN WHO ON A DAILY BASIS ABUSE EGYPTIAN WOMEN AND ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR IN AN INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT. PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AND READ MY PIECE ABOUT THIS TOPIC THAT, BY THE WAY, OCCURS WORLDWIDE AND NOT ONLY IN INDIA (AS THE MEDIA IS CONSTANTLY BOMBING OUR MINDS BY THE WAY) AND HAPPENED TO ME PARTICULARlY TRAVELLING IN SYRIA, TUNISIA AND EGYPT AND TO FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES OF MINE IN COLOMBIA. THE PIECE IS CALLED "A LOS HOMBRES LES GUSTA ENTRE MATARSE" I WROTE BACK IN 2012 WHEN I ENDURED A MUTILATING SURGERY. THANKS
